What shoes should I wear?
Running shoes will make moving around MUCH more difficult.
Dance Sneakers, Cross-trainers, or shoes that have less traction will be best. Students tend to like Capezio, Sketchers and Ryka.
What if I have a pre-existing injury?
Take it SLOW... If ANY movement causes you ANY discomfort, DON'T DO IT!
Ask me for a modification, there are tons.
What clothes should I wear?
There is a lot of shaking, shimmying & jumping, so TWO sports bras are better than one ;-) I used to double up on my sports bras, until I found Athleta...

Zumba(r) Fitness is a follow-along dance workout based on "non-verbal cueing".
While I do yell out some hints from time to time, my non-verbal cues are much clearer to follow,
once you know what they are!
You DO NOT want to make these hand gestures with me!
It will only confuse us both;-)
And, MOST IMPORTANT:
...Just keep dancing!!
